Project:
C.H. School is a small school in a village called Adwumam, approx. 30km southeast of Kumasi.
There are about 70 pupils attending classes from Nursery up to Junior High School. The pupils age ranges from 3-15 years. Madam Joana, the founder of the school, is working unsalaried.
Volunteer work:
Teaching by yourself or assisting the other teachers in class.
Accommodation:
Volunteers are hosted in a host family. Two host families live close to the project.
One family is staying in Adwumam, the other one lives in Adwampong, approx. 30min to walk through the bush. Both families are very welcoming and interested in showing Volunteers the traditional ghanaian village life.
