The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has urged Ghanaians to get involved in volunteerism to develop the country. He noted that volunteerism is one of the surest ways of developing the society rapidly, entreating the youth to get involved in such activities.
He observed that the country cannot realize its ambitions of becoming a better place to live in until everybody sacrifices. Otumfuo Osei Tutu II disclosed this at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi last Wednesday when 44 foreign nationals, who are embarking on volunteer activities, paid a courtesy call on him at his palace.
